Band Of The Day: Accept!!!

Accept

"Accept
was a German heavy metal band from the town of Solingen, originally assembled in the early 1970s by Udo Dirkschneider. The band played an important role in the development of speed metal and Teutonic thrash metal. Their 1983 album, Balls to the Wall, subsequently became their most successful release, featuring its well-known hit with the same title" Wiki

Over the past couple of days, I have started to fall in love with this band. Of course I heard of there classic songs Balls to the Wall, Fast as a Shark, and Restless and Wild. I heard of some of there other songs, but I just wasn't a fan at the time. I figured that this was a band that had a few good songs but a bunch of medicore songs. Boy was I wrong. I don't know why I wanted to look at some videos on youtube, but I did. I heard there song Metal Heart and was immediately amazed by what I was hearing. The start of the song quickly reminded me of Judas Priest's Hellion. The guitar work quickly grabs you by the heart, and the hook is just straight up catchy. I decided to listen to the entire album, and I loved each and every song.

I really like this band because they have a sound that pleases lovers of different genres of rock. They really bring the metal attitude, but they don't over do it. The guitar work on all of their albums are absolutely flawless. There are also very few singers that can match UDO's voice.

Here are some songs I really think you should check out from them:
Metal Heart, Love Child, Generation Clash, Princess of the Dawn, and X-T-C

Here are some link of one of there songs performed loved "Up to the Limit":
