Hawthorne Heights' Fragile Future Is Album Of The Year!!!

I have been listening to a great album over the last several days. I've been a fan of Hawthorne Heights for the past several years. I liked there material on their first two albums, but I thought those albums could have been better. I think they hit a homerun with their third album. It seems as if they changed to a more mature sound, but they still have the same energy as before. They also have some really great ballads too. They have dealt with great tragedy over the last year, and it shows in the album. I which they would have more guitar solos, but the drumming is clearly excellent. Most on the songs on the album average from good to excellent. There isn't a single song where I just need to skip over. I was a little disappointed with Bullet for my Valentine's and Avenged Sevenfold's releases this year. Please check out Desperation, Rescue Me, and Disaster from this great album!!!

Did The American Gymnast Get Screwed???

I was watching the Olympics yesterday, and I finally saw the controversy that everyone was talking about. When it comes to cheating in the Olympics, most people thing about steroids, gambling, and fixing events. However, this year's Olympics is surrounded with controversy when it comes to AGE. Its not the age of American players that are in question. Its not the AGE of Canadians, French, English, or Brazillians that are in question. Its the age of the Chinese gymnast that are in question.

The Olympics are being hosted in China, and that raised concern immediately. I'm not an expert on Chinese politics, but I do know that their government is not something I would want to have affiliated with my life. I don't mind the Olympics being in China. I hope it helps China after the devastating earthquakes killed thousands of individuals. I figured China would try to put on the best Olympics possible. I thought they were headed in that direction when I saw a little bit of the opening ceremony. Apparently there were some fake aspects of the ceremony. There has been talk about a little girl lip syncing and digitalized fireworks. I really could care less. If China wants to improve its image in the world by these means, then I'm OK with that.

I do have a problem if they are trying to cheat to win the Olympics. Apparently two Chinese girls are said to be below the minimum age of 16. Watching yesterday, I noticed that some of the girls looked as if they were 12 or 13. I'm bad with determining people's age to begin with, but I'm pretty sure about this. The reporters said that Chinese Officials provided the passports of the Chinese gymnast. I really hope China isn't trying to cheat to win a gold metal. They should win it with honor. I don't know what China's motive is to cheat. There isn't any proof out there yet, but I would not be surprised if more information about this scandal came out.

I feel bad for the American girls. Even though they screwed up in the last event, I feel that they should leave China with the gold metals. The Americans went into the Olympics with honor and respect for the sport. They did it the right way.

Hopefully more information will come out in the near future. The American Gymnasts are still heroes in my heart!!!

Why Do We Give A Shit About Phelps and Other Celebs???

I'm a big sports fan. I like to keep up with celebrity gossip. I just have one question I want to raise. Why do we give a shit about celebrities??? Why do we pay so much attention to people we don't even know? These people are out accomplishing their dreams. These people are busting their asses to complete goals that most couldn't. But what are most people doing. Most go to work at their regular boring job. They Have kids. They may go on vacation once a year. They also.....I can't think of anything else. Oh yeah, they die. I have no idea how people can live there lives without the goal of achieving a dream. I have no idea how to function in that environment. Everyday, a wake up with the desire to strive to accomplish my goals. Yes I cheer others for their achievements, but I cheer even harder for myself. I just want people to quit sitting on the coach being fans of others. Be a fan of yourself, and go out and achieve your ultimate dream!!!

Top Places Where I Want To Live in America

Over the last few months, I feel like I've done it all in Houston. I've been to pretty much every hotspot in town, and I think there is little left for me to experience. I'm finishing up college in a year, so I'll be a free man. I've thought of some cool place to live, but I haven't given it too much thought. Here is a list in no particular order.

1. Austin, TX- Austin has a pretty cool scene. It has awesome concerts, and it is home to 6th street. It can get old after a while, but I have a fun time there every time. Its also close to Houston. Therefore, I can still retain a close relationship with my friends in Houston.

2. Miami, FL - This would be an awesome place. The weather is excellent, and they have a ton of hot Latin women. I also hear that the clubs are open till four or five. Thats is was better than Houston(clubs close at 2am). I'm really not a beach person, so that would be a little negative.

3. Phoenix, AZ- This would be a cool situation. I've never traveled this far west. I imagine hot athletic girls, with a laid back atmosphere. I could be wrong, but usually that never happens.

4. Las Vegas, NV- Sin City loves the Gunshow. We should be twins. This place screams nightlife, but I don't know if its a little "Too Much" for me.

5. Los Angeles, CA- Gunshow is destined for Hollywood, so its only a matter of time. I just don't think I could share the spotlight with those other lame celebrities.

6. New York, New York- I would love to go to the melting pot of America. I like how they have an awesome transportation system. I just don't know if I can stand the weather in the winter.

7. Seattle, WA- Asian Girls: I don't think I need to say anything else!!!

Finally Gunshow Barbary Did It Big In Kansas!!!

I have been gone for two weeks, but finally I'm back. I was on "vacation" in this really small town in Kansas, and there wasn't shit to do. Well, I'll take that back. I did do a thing or two. The first weekend I was up there was pretty cool. I got to hang out with the fam on Thursday, and then it was nonstop party time for the weekend. On Friday, I went to go see "The Dark Knight" for the second time. It was an awesome movie, so I didn't mind seeing it twice. After the movie, it was time to get ready for the Cantina. The Cantina is the only place to go in the little small town, and thats where all the cool people are. We started off the night with drinking a shot called "wild turkey". It tasted like shit, but the Gunshow started to power up like a wild fire. We drank a couple of beers, and I was ready to do the Gunshow Boogie on the dance floor. I ended up meeting this girl name Chasity. I didn't like her name, because I'm really not "into" girls that have Chasity rings. She definitely didn't have a Chasity rings. This girls was more wilder than the girls I met during Spring Break. The only problem was that she was a little bit based the chubby level. I've been called a chubby chaser, but this may have been a little to far. But when your on vacation, the rules can slide a little bit. Hell, last summer I was with a 4oolb girl. This time it was a vast improvement.

The next night I went back to the Cantina. I ended up running into the lesbians from Christmas Break. The hot lesbian stole my mojo, and it was my mission to get it back. When she saw me, she came and gave me a lap dance. Then she kissed my balled head. I was excited on the inside, but I wasn't going to let her steal my mojo again. So I ended up blowing her off. But I did want to get one last dance with her at the end of the night. I tried to get in a Lesbian Sandwich on the dancefloor, but I ended up being the slice of bread. The fat lesbian was the lunchmeat. This is such bullshit. Then I got a text and I found out my two good friends kissed each other. "What the hell"!!! I also saw Stepbrother that night, and that movie was fuckin insane.

Things were boring for the rest of the week. I played a little 360 with my brother, and I kicked his ass at Madden. Finally I got my revenge after five years.

Then the next weekend came around, and it was party time again. I saw the wild girl on Friday, and it was kind of awkward. I just wanted a One Night Delight, not a Two Week Freak. So I kind of ignored her cause I wanted to see what else Kansas had to offer. There were nothing but girls with no teeth that had birthed at least 3 kids. So I went back to the girl from last weekend. She was amazing again. I actually had to steal her from another dude, but that was a piece of cake. Did this guy really think that he could compete with the Lean Cuisine. Anyway I had a good time with the girl's friends, and I showed them what Doin in Big really means.

Overall, I had an OK time in Kansas. I met some cool people, but overall I was bored most of the time. I'm glad to be back in Houston, and I'm ready to take Big Time to a whole other level!!!

Band of the Day: Los Electricos

Last night, I happened to stumble across this really great band. I have no idea how long they have been out, but it seems as if they just create their myspace page. Most people would just say that this is a simple techno band, but they are so much more. There music is relaxing yet exciting at the same time. There song "Fang" is excellent, and hopefully these guys from Brooklyn blow up soon!!!
